'Uniquely YOU' Hormone Coaching Program

Hello! As a Registered Nurse in the medical field for over 40 years, my passion lies in helping women lose weight and feel body confident and strong through the changing seasons of life. I

 achieve this by creating a personalized holistic approach to balancing hormones and developing an intuitive eating plan tailored to you. Hormone education is at the heart of everything I do.            


My Program:

“Your Beautiful Hormones”  Using the “Uniquely YOU! Weight Loss Plan!”  

This program consists of 18 weeks of support, which includes six one-on-one coaching sessions and extensive accountability and personalized support throughout. We will work together to help you optimize all of your hormones, lose weight, manage stress, improve gut health, and achieve deeper sleep. Additionally, you will gain the confidence and insight needed to collaborate effectively with your healthcare provider     

                                                   Step 1: Let’s Get Cozy With Your Blood Type.                                                               

Outcome: In this step, we will define and explore your blood type to help you begin eating the right foods that your body craves. You will learn which foods are most beneficial for supporting your health and weight loss, as well as the foods you need to avoid that have been secretly keeping weight on. This will help you feel better, more energized, youthful, and enable your body to flush fat more easily right from the start. This step is crucial for addressing and eliminating inflammation. 

Action Steps:

  • Confirm your specific blood type with your primary care provider, medical records, or a quick blood type kit.
  • Learn to “eat right for your blood type” and become familiar with it.
  • Discuss intermittent fasting options.
  • Explore the right supplements to build your own GLP-1 for weight loss.

Step 2: Circadian Weight Loss 

Outcome: In this step, you will learn which hormones are affected by your sleep and how they prevent you from losing weight and feeling energized. We’ll create a customized plan to help you achieve deeper and more restful sleep, supporting your body’s natural process of eliminating toxins, processing fat, and promoting calmness throughout the day. Understanding the roles of ghrelin and leptin is key here and how morning sun exposure has so many benefits to our sleep and hormone optimization.                      

Action Steps:

  • Discover and implement sleep etiquette steps to achieve 7-9 hours of restorative sleep nightly.
  • Identify the best supplements and hormone creams for accomplishing these goals.

         Step 3: Exercise and the Cortisol Connection 

Outcome: Discover the best type of exercise for your body based on your blood type and body goals. You’ll learn which exercises spike your cortisol, causing your body to hold onto fat, and which exercises help you lose weight faster and feel stronger. We’ll also identify the best days to work out and determine the right amount of protein necessary for weight loss. Building muscle is essential for a healthy metabolism, so we will focus on this as well. 

Action Steps:

  • Set a weekly plan/schedule for exercise.
  • Learn protein tips to ensure you consume the optimal amount.
  • Create a feasible plan to build muscle daily.

      Step 4: Stress and the Hormone Waltz 

Outcome: Learn techniques to manage your mindset and stress to balance your cortisol levels. This will help bring your nervous system back into balance and prevent your body from holding onto fat due to being in a constant ‘fight or flight’ state. Managing your cortisol levels effectively will also support your thyroid function. 

Action Steps:

  • Learn how to enter a “rest and digest” state quickly.
  • Utilize mindfulness tools to tone the vagus nerve and activate the parasympathetic system.
  • Identify the best calming supplements and hormones.

         Step 5: Why Going #2 is Actually Numero Uno 

Outcome: In this step, you’ll uncover how to detox from common endocrine-disrupting chemicals and other toxins in daily life. This detox process is crucial to preventing your body from holding onto excess weight and avoiding chronic health issues over time. We’ll also develop a plan to optimize your bowel movements, which will help you lose weight, keep it off, and feel lighter and more energized. Optimizing liver health is also a focus in this step. 

Action Steps:

  • Discuss bowel etiquette and new ways to optimize bowel movements.
  • Explore prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics.
  • Utilize the best water and minerals for hydration.
  • Discuss liver health options.
